Featured Artist - Celeste Gendron

Celeste Gendron is part of Coalesce Photography with her fiance Craig Walmsley.

"What inspires us is our surroundings and the beauty of it. We love the colours, textures and ultimately, the photos we create. We love to travel and hope to take more pictures of places abroad and share them with the world. We plan on using our photographs to create unique gifts and combine them with crafts and art. We want to take our photos beyond what the traditional photographer does.

We want to show you, with a blink of a camera, what we see".

Artist Of The Month - Kirill Evdokimov

Kirill Evdokimov is a Russian born photographer currently living and working in Vancouver. While growing up, his parents relocated frequently and the young Kirill became keenly interested in observing his ever changing surroundings. This led him to take up photography at an early age. Currently, his work focuses on the absurdity of man-made environments and human activity.

peta's pie

This is awesome, everything is so easy and quick to make! And cheap! I tried 'The Silence of The Lambs Shepard's Pie' last night and it was yuuuummmm. And the girl on the front is cute, in a weird way.

computers and blues

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kwAvNRv7J34&feature=player_embedded

The Streets new interactive video 'Computers and Blues' is highly addictive. Check it out, it plays upon the idea that one decision can alter the course of your day. And parts of The Streets new album is played in the different paths you choose for Mike Skinner. Warning, if you're the inquisitive sort, this will keep you busy for longer than you thought!

green tea, mint tea, camomile tea, flowering tea?

This is like, the most relaxing tea experience ever. Watch the tea blossom (an arrangement of delicate tea leaves and freshly dried flowers that are hand sewn and dried into a ball shape) unfurl and then drink the delicious nectar of an infusion that's produced. To top it off my set has a stand for a tea light to sit flickering beneath it. Ahh.

"Having always been in love with water (the ocean, snow, and the many other forms it takes on our planet, like human) I strive to tell its many stories. This selection is an attempt to shed some light on how water and its surface, relate to our subconscious. This has always been a great literary metaphor, and these photos speak of being pulled down, being influenced by great forces, being confused and disorientated, and the overlapping layers that are ever present in our mind.

Please enjoy but remember to come up for air once in a while."
